APPLICATIO mainly uses Free and Open Source Software in the process of planning and construction of eLearning solutions and supports developers and institutions in the use of these softwares.

Following is a brief introduction to some tools and softwares we are frequently using software which is available for free.

• eXe-Learning is a tool for the construction of SCORM compatible eLearning courses (Web-Based Training). It is easy to be learnt, intuitionally, flexible and leads to quick results.

• Moodle is an eLearning management system of highest popularity. Participants can be administered, activities can be followed and courses (e.g. constructed with eXe-Learning) can easily be implemented. APPLICATIO uses Moodle for its own eLearning platform.

• Hot Potatoes supports the construction of interactive tasks and tests and is an important support in order to bring interactivity into eLearning.
